Holt News for August 2002
Holt News: Oops, missed a month! Yes, there were no updates for July since there was nothing new. I know everyone has a lot going on in their lives right now, but don't forget your lovely elves, drifting along at the bottom of the sea. ^_^ If anyone is interesting in doing a holt chat or art/story exchange let me know. I've put out ideas for different projects, but I really need to know who's interested!
Site News: Got rid of the tagboard--the service went to pay, and everyone uses the guestbook instead, anyway. The new site entrance to replace the Sept. 11 memorial is going well; in an unexpected twist I decided to go with something a lot more simple & airy than what I've been working on for the past 4 months. *sigh* ;)

New Elves: Amber has created a new elf, Altrau, an older elf, but very unconventional, raised by her mother to...well, but that would be giving it away. ;) You'll just have to read her CIS to find out the details.
New Art: "Jade's Fishing Trip," by Jade, is up! Thanks, Jade. :) Also a beautiful pic of Altrau, our newest elf, by Amber, and 4 new pics by Kossia: "Benti," Tollan," Contemplating," and "Potential".
New Stories: Classic Coral fantasy - Dina's "The Courting Gift," now on the internet! This was one of our first stories ever. :)
Site Updates: I'm putting all stories in chronological order now by events, instead of when they were submitted. Hopefully this will make the flow of time easier to follow. :) The Tribe of 2 Elements has changed locations, so I updated their link. If you like Elf-Fins, take a look; a lot of stuff has been added or updated! Also, I fixed the link to "Contemplating," by Kossia. I got the title wrong, so of course I got the link wrong too. ;P Thanks to Kossia for pointing it out.
