Distinctions: He has serrated fins that run from his elbows to his wrists and he has a lot of what he calls "battle scars". His fingers are webbed. He also has gills on his neck, under the ears.

Color scheme: When he chooses to wear clothing, it usually matches the colors of his tail.

Clothes: On special occasions, he wears a long headband that is a vivid yellow in the center and fades to orange at the ends. The ends fall to about his shoulders. He occasionally wears a vest that is the same colors, but it rarely ever leaves his closet.

Jewelry: He doesn't wear any.

Weapons/tools: You name it, Huin's got at least one. He prides himself on his weapon collection and considers himself an expert with all of them.

History: Huin's parents were very strict with him, instructing him mainly in the hunting and fighting arts. He learned early on the value of a good weapon and the importance of planning. His parents died when he was about 208 turns old in a hunting accident, causing Huin to take his trade even more seriously. He can't abide poor hunters. To his way of thinking, if you're going to be a hunter, you'd better be ready to go all out or go home. Shortly after his parents' deaths, he was shape-changed and got his tail so that he could swim faster and be an even better hunter. When he first started courting Gentle Wave, he tried to impress her with his hunting ability, but she was more interested in his personality. After 30 cycles of being lovemates, they Recognized and had a daughter, Kossia. He did his best to impart his knowledge and love of hunting to her. He knows she can do better than she does, but he lets it go because he loves her so much.
