• History: Born to loving parents, he spent his early years wanting for nothing. He was a happy child with a bright future. That changed when during the hammerhead sharks' migration, his parents were killed in a frenzy feeding. Girtam grew up from then on challenging sharks, often the biggest he could find, showing them he had no fear. Befriended Zarra at one point and they spent a lot of they Recognized. Girtam was rather distracted during that hunt, something constantly nagged at his brain. It was obvious that something was distracting Zarra too. It was this distraction that caused Girtam to make a near-fatal mistake. After they speared the shark, they got too close as it finished its death throws. Suddenly the shark gave a violent thrash and swung around clamping his rows of teeth onto Girtam's face. It thrashed and shook him tearing up the right side and taking his eye. Zarra quickly finished off the shark and moved to help the injured elf. When he opened the good eye, recognition hit. With injuries like that it was some time before Zarra and him could fulfill recognition. After the joining he tried to claim the untamable Zarra as his and was harshly rejected. He then pursued her and demanded the lifemating. Again and again he was rejected. Zarra was so sick of it that when Wynn’s birth came close she snuck away to a secret place. Furious with her, he tried to take his newborn son at the celebration, but he was stopped. Defeated, he left the Holt to try and clear his mind of Zarra. After some time he returned, but only to find that he still wanted Zarra for his own. He then made it his mission to threaten all of her likely suitors privately. He has succeeded fairly well. He didn’t take much part in his son’s life, but when the boy was the right age he tried to teach him the art of the hunt. Wynn doesn’t want to learn and this infuriates Girtam who goes back to being the father who’s never there. However, his life has been complicated with his lovemating with Tyree. He knows he has deep feelings for her, but he’s not ready to give up Zarra.

• Personality: A hard nose and very possessive. He’s very loving to his lovemate in private, but keeps on a hard mask when out with the group. He doesn’t really trust other males, often commenting how they all want to take his women. He’s a relentless and fierce hunter. He can be rather single-minded and moody. He’s also known to be rather obsessive, as one can see in his pursuit of Zarra even with a current lovemate. He’s also a bit full of himself.
